i’m making a site in flash and i was wondering how to do the nav side of it. i can use the buttons to jump to a certain location in a movieclip to display the content-screens, but i would really like the content to slide in and out of the site instead of just jumping on screen.
I already made a movieclip for every content screen where you see everything come into place and then fade away. But it doesn’t seem so simple to control the movieclips as they should stop half way until a different button is pressed, and THEN the movie has to go on (fade out) while the new content screen slides in.
I tried to crack it, with my humble actionscript skills, using variables and the works, but i can’t seem to crack this problem.
How do other sites do this? any suggestions would be welcome…
