Hiall - Got a “can this be done” question:
I’m looking for the best way to structure a full flash site and how to have the different pages load.
Say I have a main movie that has the site menu (home, about us)
and I have an empty frame in the main movie that will be used to display the content.
Each page that gets loaded into the empty frame will slide in, then stop displaying the content, and when a button in the main menu is selected (IE about us) the page being displayed will slide out THEN load the next page.
Here’s a sample of what I’m thinking:
INTROANIMATION------STOP------EXITANIMATION—LOAD PAGE “X”
Then in the main menu, when a button such as “about us” is selected, it changes the variable “X” to aboutus.swf and tells the current movie to play the EXITANIMATION
Will this variable usage work? Would it work in 2.0? Trying to find the best way to build the navigation for flash sites.
