If you know more about this than me, perhaps this will come off as a silly question, but I’m going to ask it anyways. It’s about the Creative Commons license.
Now, say I was working on a project with a song that looped poorly, perhaps because of an extended “build-up” section at the front or a fade-out at the end (or a period of outright silence, even). Those sort of sections make for a very poor loop in a game. If I were to program the game to skip past those sections when it looped, would that violate a Creative Commons - No Derivative license on the music? I’m figuring “yes” but best to ask. At this point this is entirely academic, as I’m not working with a song like that, but I’m curious.
