I have a preloader for an empty mc which loads an external JPG using loadMovie(). The preloader works perfectly in Flash’s Download Simulation but when the .swf is uploaded and the mc begins to load the JPG, the preloader just sits at 0%. When the image is done loading, the preloader disappears as it should…but why won’t the load bar or percent show up during the download? I’ve tried many things but can’t seem to figure this out.
