They are opening a new terminal in Toronto very soon, and I went today… here is my day: (pictures included)
"Ok, because I’m a loser and love the airport … they had this volunteer trial thing, where you act like a passenger, and go throughout the airport and stuff.
So I went with one of my friends … and before we got there, I thought we would be the only loser young people … it was kind of embarassing. But nevertheless. We got there, and freaking surprised as hell… there had to be at least 400+ people there doing the trial. And a LOT of kids/ teenagers. I even saw a girl from my work with her family.
Anyways, so I had this weird name … Chawala or something was my last name. V. Chawala haha. So anyways, as we were waiting to check in (I was going to “Montreal”) this old guy dropped to the ground and started bleeding. We thought it was fake… but it was real. He was there for a good 1/2 hour before the ambulance took him away.
There were tv crews and everything… it was pretty cool. We also had luggage, which I carried my “bomb” and my friend carried “dead body” in hers. haha. it was funny to joke. harrrr!
The new terminal is pretty nice. big and open… but i got congested waiting to check in. but the place is WAY to white. Everything is white, white walls … floors, everything. It wasn’t THAT great.
But anyways, we got a little radio, book and lunch out of it. It was pretty cool for a saturday morning … and if anyone is interested, they are doing it again on Feb27 go to www.gtaa.com to sign up. my friends want to go again… I dunno if I do. lol."
