I am making that leap from AS2 to AS3. The journey has been frustrating and mind bending at times, yet surprising simple at other times. I’ll spare you the head-aches Ive had and get to the point.
The site is complete with the exception of a a few things. Firstly there is no real content, but not my problem, the site is dynamic with CMS is on its way.
Secondly, and more importantly I have discovered the transitions are sometimes jumping/skipping, and I cant work out why. I am using a mixture of the tweener class for the transitions and an onEnterFrame function for the animations of the branches and nodes.
Its not too bad on my machine, but it worries me. I would like to find out how the site behaves and how bad the jumps/skips are on different peoples machines. Could you tell me how it behaves and your CPU speed and OS so I can make a comparison.
