So recently my job has done a ton of firings and basically redid most of management. I’m still at my spot and everyone here is really happy with me which is good. What’s bad is I’m concerned as a whole that the company itself is going to rapidly go down hill.
What they did was put some new staff in management positions, and most of these people don’t have much of a clue to what they are doing. Because of the recent move there’s been talk about key people leaving.
Now this really concerns me because if the company doesn’t do good it could end up bad for me. I’ve had to take on other peoples jobs before because they just got up and quit one day or were fired for some stupid reason.
The general manager is 6 months pregnant so she will be leaving and probably won’t be back full time for a year or 2. That concerns me because she runs the entire place, and no one here is really fit for her job. The warehouse manager (we own 4 warehouses) just got fired and that’s really been hurting us (the warehouse is where we really make a ton of money). If the warehouse goes down they company takes a huge hit in the pocket.
So what do I do? Do I look for another job? Do I show company spirit and try and do whatever I can to help. Or do I just continue to do my job?
