Hi everyone!
I just made an ajax contact form - http://mtsix.com/contact/
Feel free to try it out
looks good but all that white plain space… i think you should add somthing into the page like extra color
The space to the right of the form but within the border? What should I add there? I don’t want to give out my home address…
Oh c’mon spad3s you didn’t even try it! I didn’t get an email from you
[whisper]i got one from nokrev :D[/whisper]
I sent one to you i really like the sending and sending compleate actions at the bottom!
it is good.
however, what is so special about it?
it is just like any other email form.
That’s cool! :thumb:
:lol: nice… but one of the big ajax don’ts is to not make simple forms in ajax :lol:
Yeah… it’s rather silly to do that, because it prevents non-js users from using it.
Progresive enhancements! :thumb:
For the record, it does allow JS-disabled users to use it The form works all the same without JS.
Thanks for the commentos!
Aye! Great job, then. :thumb:
:lol: that’s good to know, since AJAX is meant to depriciate nicely… you should check out… http://formassembly.com/ it’s pretty tight. I’ve used it for an advanced form b4. My only problem w/ it is it’s naming conventions, but it’s still kewl. You can see other here too: Purchase Intent Data for Enterprise Tech Sales and Marketing | TechTarget
■■■■that’s a really comprehensive library. I’d stick with my own though. I use Sajax as php/javascript framework for ajax stuff. It’s pretty small and tight, and good enough for all my uses.
Yeah, http://www.wufoo.com/ is pretty incredible.
I’ve bookmarked that formassembly… that’s pretty cool, too.
nice, but whats the point in it?
– edit – it dosent seem to be working here with javascript disabled, unless you got an email from 3432534@1.com there is no way of telling it was sent, and if you did get an email from that addy then that would mean the validation is wack
It looks(h) cool, Ramie.
… Really cool…
Anyway, very nice. I was just expecting something to the right of the form. Not sure what you could put there though.
Hmm I didn’t get an email from that email address. I’ll test around and see what’s going on. Thanks for the input.
Looks great, you change your CSS like so:
.sending_email, .email_sent {
cursor: default;
}
There’s no need to have a text cursor when you mouse over the Sending Email and Email Sent text. One of those very very small details that only crazy people find annoying (me) but it’s good to get out of the way anyway.
:lol: done deal. I use Opera and the cursor is always default
god! that wufoo formbuilder is awesome! this stuff is really interesting :ko:
I liked it with the text cursor… it is text after all…
