Mysql->Php->Flash: specials characters not working

I have a problem passing special characters from Mysql to PHP then to Flash; like “%”, “ó”, “ñ”,etc.
I have tested with PHP and all characters works right, but when pass values to flash, it doesn’t recognize the characters.
