Nasty audible click when switching between audio(mp3)/video(flv) sound

Although I can achieve smooth transitions when switching between sound files (with button commands) even when interrupting a file in the middle of its playing process, when switching to a flv video file after a playing audio file was interrupted causes a nasty audible audio click at the start the very start of the audio of the video player (using ns:stream method). I have tried ‘stopAllSounds’ on the video play button but to no avail.
This does not happen when the audio file was stopped or completed till the end, neither when the streaming video file is called and starts playing without preceeding audio file.
Sounds like a audio buffer problem but I don’t have a clue of how to tackle this.
Thanks for any help…
