Recently I attempted to use a slide template in MX 2004 to create an instructional presentation for a client. The client wanted to have movies playing for each slide. I created a series of slides and inserted the movies using components. When I went to test, the application fell apart. The FLV movies would can out with no sound, crappy playback, lagged auto start times and all sorts of bugs.
When I insert a movie using components into a single scene and test of course it works great, but with the slides it collapsed.
Does anyone here know enough about Flash’s architecture, especially in regards to slides, that they could explain to me why this happened?
