So I’m very new to flash and I had to build this slide show type movies that synced up sounds with pictures that I faded in and out of. I created the movie with no problem. And I uploaded the .swf file into dreamweaver (I have much more experience in html than flash) with no problem and it plays fine when you go to the site, but what I’d really like to do is give the viewer the option of pausing/playing and going back to the beginning of the movie.
I can’t seem to figure out how to insert those buttons into the .fla or .swf files without knowing action script…which I don’t. Isn’t there an easy, template style way to add controls to a movie? If there is, can someone please point me in the right direction?
The only way I can think to do it is to export as a quicktime file…but I know you’ve got to be able to do it in the .swf file, right?
