Need help Asap with opening PDFs from flash

I am making a cd rom catalogish thing. I have lots of menus that linkk to more menus that link to more menus. and then i have a final menu with a list of all of the PDFs that I want to open.

I am using a scroll pane to display most of the text. I stupidly thought that I could easily load a PDF into the scroll pane after importing it into flash as keyframes (hahahahahah).

I have about 50-60 catalog items that need to open up from different links on different menus.

I am making this project on a mac…however it will need to open up on a PC in the end, from a cd that I burn it to.

I was reading something about the getURL, but it didnt seem to work withought the ENTIRE path to the PDF. Which wouldnt be very effective when the CD is in another computer…especially a PC! Soooo, Can ANYONE answer me this…HOW DO I GET PDFS TO OPEN UP WITH ADOBE ACROBAT FROM A CD-ROM WHICH AUTOPLAYS MY FLASH.EXE FILE ON A PC??? If you know can you please please help me. I searched the web for thw answer but nothing worked or made any sense.

If anyone knows another method to somehow convert the files so they can be viewed within my scrollpane that would be good too. I really dont care about the method as long as it works.

THANK YOU!!!:crying:
