Hey guys…I’m looking for a little help in making a “Mute” button for my lame ass MP3 player I’m making.
I’m developing for the Flash 5 player.
I wouldn’t mind the helpful information to be using the Sound Object. I need the mute button to not actually “stop” the sound, but yet, just mute it while the music is still playing. I couldn’t really figure this out…So I thought that putting the sound (old school like) into a movie clip and stopping and starting it this way would work, but no. The sound continues on. So I’m quite sure this is a Sound Object thing. Also, since the sound didn’t stop…I’m going to be making a “Pause” button as well. So if anyone out there could help me out…let me know!
