Need Help Making News Ticker

Hey,

I have a news script installed on my site. I have a little php script that grabs the 5 newest headlines from the database and puts them in a text file.

Now, what I want to do is use flash to get the 5 headlines from the text file and scroll them… To see what effect I want goto www.hybrid-theory.net/indexnew.php and look just under the logo. That’s how I want it to look.

Can anyone help?

you might want to make a gradient graphic in photoshop or something (from solid color to opacity) import that into the flash movie (put it in front of and behind where the ticker comes in and out) to give that same fade in effect
