Need help w/loading external data

I searched high and low and couldn’t find anything resembling my issue, so here goes. I am working on a website w/an animated menu. The actual website will be simple html inside of the textbox w/the scrollbar. I want the buttons on the menu to load the external data into the textbox, but…it won’t. I’m not really sure why. I think it has something to do w/the this, _root, _parent thing…any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes, i have seen that tutorial, but it doesnt address the problem that I’m having…that tutorial works fine when i try to do it that way, but when i have buttons embedded in a movie clip, as i do in my project, the data doesnt load into the textbox…:puzzled:
