I want to make a new flash footer, but I don’t really know what I should do… I was going to make something like one of those cool anime-type profile shots - Shing! Shing! SHING! With lots of flashy, fast moving lines, and blurs, and and angry looking me… but i couldn’t pull it off effectivly… (and I don’t want to put sounds in a footer, since it would be waaaaaay annoying)…
Any ideas?

you could put a 1x1 Pixel big swf in your signature with nothing but the following code in it:

since people copy URLs in most cases they will probably not recognize it and this would drive other people crazy, and it will take quite some time to find out why that happens (since they are not abled to see your 1x1Pixel swf on the first view).
the negative side effect: you would probably be banned for that

Actually I had done an idea like your seiferTim with the shing Shing shing. I was a quick fash of a balde(x3) then squinty eyes scrolling slowly left to right and it fades out and in my name

I recommend that everyone try that at least once.
That’s pretty annoying. Nothing a good Alt+F4 can’t handle, though
But yeah about the footer thing, I think at this point the mods are kinda not recommending people to have flash footers mainly because if everybody’s gets loaded on a single page, it could really kill your computers performance.
If you’re going to have a flash footer, at least have it display some splash requiring interaction to play (ie. McGiver’s footer, does nothing until you click on it).
