Hi,
I have a client whose autobiography will be published soon. She wants a site that will include a Q&A area where fans can ask her questions and she will answer them.
I envision it looking and acting something like a forum – like this one – only simpler, perhaps with threading of some sort but without registering.
Is this possible? (From page source, I gather Kirupa forums are made with HTML, CSS and PHP.)
Can anyone steer me to an online tutorial or template, etc., that might be helpful? Are there keywords, besides “forums” and “Q&A,” that would make Google searches more to the point? (What is something like this actually called?)
I’d love to build the Q&A in Flash 8 (which I use a lot) and PHP (which I can barely spell but have begun learning.)
But if the Flash-PHP combo is not practical, I will entertain alternatives (Drupal? HTML?)
