I have a client project, it is basically a very long timeline of when books were written throughout the years. From 1697-1999.
I tried to talk the client into letting me break up the centuries into multiple swfs to load as a users clicks on the century.
I was told no way, it has to be one long continous timeline.
Well…I was able to get about 40 years on the timeline inside a MC, with a stage width of 2888 px which is Flash max stage width.
So now I’m stuck and need some help with brainstorming on how to proceed from here.
I’m not an actionscript genious, but I’m a little more then a n00b.
If anyone has any brilliant ideas to share I would sure welcome them.
I’ve included my prototype fla if that will help in your thought process.
