guys I’m bidding something on ebay, it’s a P800 by sony, retail price is about $670
and then suddenly this guy ( I dont know where he came from) he emailed me and told me that He got a brand new P800 for $500 incl shipping, excpet if I wanna do the airmail or something, I have to add like $30.
he told me he got the stuff from his cousin in Tokyo (his cousin owns a store)
he gave me his home address in canada, which I don’t know what Im gonna do with that
the patment should be done using western union instead of paypal.
Collectible glassware is one of my hobbies, so I’ve been buying & selling on eBay for over four years now. The scenario that you’ve described is a classic scam. I can’t say for sure that this one is too, but the risk is too high and you have no recourse if you do get stung.
Also, eBay would consider the e-mail to be auction intereference, a rather severe infraction that would likely get the sender’s eBay account suspended, if they are reported. If I were the seller of that auction I’d certainly hope someone would do exactly that.
Tell him to put it on eBay with a $500 Buy It Now option.
The fact that he’s leaching someone elses buyers speaks volumes about his character, 'nuff said.
why dont you make a Pc yourself? You can probably make it with that processor or higher for same price or cheaper =) And theres tons of resouces online about building a PC (and its not too difficult) Anyway, just a suggestion =)
