Hello everyone!

I have made a new logo, and a intro to go with it. Tell me what you think!

ok… with firefox, it lags where the text doesn’t appear for a long time, and the 3rd ring doesn’t appear either. Does anyone know why this is happaning???

it also works fine when I just play the swf!

Waaaay sloooooooow! what’s going on to make it so slow? The logo is the three rings right? I think that all the rings should have the same type of glow as the first one.

the rings do have a glow effect on them, just not a big one like the first. I can’t figure out why it goes slow! It plays great on my computer (opening the flash file) and in flash when you test it. Then I put it online and it takes forever!

The animation should be done right after the sound finishes!

I have it set at 30fps, I don’t get why it’s slow!

Hm…

Try making the rings vectorized. Just have a circle with the gradients, instead of a huge bitmap, with alpha channel, laying over another one of those. That should speed it up fairly quickly.

Ok, MT. I’ll try that in a bit. How bout this one?

This one doesn’t seem to have the lag, but the file is bigger! I don’t get it.

What are the file types for those bitmaps? i’m guessing png, since they have transparency and gradients. And i’m also guessing that the fast intro has… bigger png files, with smoother transparency? I’m not sure, but everything vector would be optimum.

In both it has the same files. They both use tga’s. I didn’t change anything except make the sound different and the fade quicker. I would think it would have the same problems as the first one (-:

I would vectorize everything, But I’m not to good at making glows and things in vector :slight_smile:

The second one still takes about a minute even after a refresh once it’s finished the first time.

woah! a minute? it is supposted to take like 4 seconds!

I think I’m going to ditch this one and stick with the good old picture for the splash, or no splah at all!

ok, I just made a picture of it… I’m going to dlete this thread and start a new one about the logo :slight_smile:
