Hey people, need help…
I launched a new t-shirt business a while back…
the site was systematically gutted down to what it is now because it wasn’t selling.
I’m still seeing in my stats that a LOT of people are just bouncing off the gallery pages…
some people spend time wandering through the product pages “back” and “next” links,
but nobody is buying anything!!! (Note: they don’t even add a product to the cart - so it’s not the checkout process - at least not yet!)
I know the t-shirts aren’t the best that were ever designed, but when I wear them in public strangers comment on them. When I show them to the people on the t-shirt forums, they all say theses shirts should sell. (coming from the idea that they’re shirts are selling, which are cheezy one liners and cheap novelty). They don’t have much experience in web design tho.
So what’s the deal…help me figure out why my site isn’t converting.
I’ve gone through 600 unique visitors ($300) on Google Adwords with keywords like “Retro T-Shirts”…but no sales whatsoever! (1:100 is a reasonable average - 0:600 is some seriously expensive traffic!)
I need comments…
nothing is too brutal, but don’t make it up just to post something.
There must be a problem with this site…
but I’ve been staring at it so long I can’t see anymore.
Any help is appreciated…
