Newbie help :)

Hi everyone,

I have a really odd problem with a flash file in my html, using dreamweaver i have put my swf file into my html page, once i preview the page and once online a box appear around the swf file when the mouse hovers over it, im really confused as to why this is as the file is not hyperlinked in anyway,

any help would much appreciated,

Leanne

(im using IE)

did you upload the swf to the same directory?

Hi,

yes my swf file is in the same directory and the html page, everything works fine apart from this annoying box that appears around my file for no apparent reason (-:

Leanne

?? could you post the file or a screen shot?

yes, I too face the same problem… I get a box round any swf file… it also gives a message (tooltip kind) saying “click to activate and use this control”. Only once I click on it my flash gets activated… why is this happening??:look:

mines says exactly the same, except my swf file plays without clicking the box,

i have attached a print screen,

thanks

Leanne

[*]Now, use the following Flash script to generate the HTML tags required for displaying your animation. Enter your animation (SWF) file’s path relative to your HTML file, the width of your animation, and the height of your animation and press the oversized Generate Code button:[/LIST]is that just me or is it really missing,

Leanne

if you fill in the details e.g
