Ok, try this…
Open up your image in Photoshop. Hit CTRL+A to select all and then hit CTRL+C to copy. Go to File/New and create a new document. For Background color choose Transparent.
Now hit CTRL+V to paste in your copied version of the pic. If the background of your image is originally white, you will need to use the eraser tool to erase the white so the transparent background shows through.
When you get it how you want it save it as a gif again (with transparency). If that doesn’t work, save it as a .PNG image.
