i am very new to FLASH technology and i have lots of questions … however, at the time i really try to understand how the size of a fla file stays the same after i remove almost everything from it.
More details: i am putting together a series of slides, each slide is a flash document (fla file). Every time I’m done with one slide I am getting to the next one by keeping what is common to the previous and next slide and start from there. I was expecting Flash 8 to keep some overhead but it seems from one slide to the other i am adding size all the time.
I noticed that the layer number has incremented from one file to the next, but somehow I guess it keeps all the information even if i don’t see it.
Is there a way to purge all info in a file or do i have to create a template with the common elements, and so on …
