hi! i’m trying to create a standalone flash application that streams my radio and also have other interactive features like shoutbox, login, dj control (web based) and voting. i’ve seen this done in a browser application but i want to have mine on flash so people can download and keep it in their pc. first, im going to come up with an intranet version see if it works. then only, im gonna upload it on the net for people to use.

i know that the interactive features i want can be done on a browser application with the help of many tutorials online. and ive seen other people done it as well. but as for Flash/PHP, im not sure how. ive read the post written by eyezberg on PHP/Flash introduction… and i havent a clue on how it works (im reaaallly a newbie)…
a friend from another flash site suggested that i do the application in flash first, without the server side scripting. just make it work in static text, which i dont quite get…but i guess he must’ve meant a mock up…
so im hoping to get useful advise and guide from u guys esp those who’ve done php/flash many times before…
