As should be no secret to designers in and out of the field, people still use IE6 a LOT (link).
There’s no way that MS is naive to this fact… Lets face it…IE7 is a MUCH better browser than IE6 in many ways. So, I find it curious why MS hasn’t provided an update (if not a mandatory update) for IE6, to make it behave more like IE7…or even a mandatory update to IE7 straight out the gate…
Anyhow, it bugs me that I have to continue to use obscure PNG and CSS hacks to make my pages work efficiently in one of the most widely used browsers of today, so i figured I’d get the discussion going…
What are you best fixes for this kind of stuff? How do you cope?
