ok , ill set out the problem that im having and then maybe you can help me,
i have lots of images that take a while to load on a page and i want to make it so you have to wait until all the images are loaded before you see any of them, so that you see all of the images at once, instead of each one loading on its self so you see them at separate times.
A bonus would be if i can have a very small sized image which says loading, so that loads first.
hmm, no simple way of doing it. You might be able to find some javascript which lets you specify all the images you want to load… I wouldn’t bother tho.
Whats the difference in waiting for that page to load, rather than other pages?
The response by JMS about summed it up. What you’re trying to do just can’t be done without preloading ALL of the images on a prior page, and there is no way to control whether the user will wait long enough on that prior page to get all the images to preload.
