I am making a projector of my swf and have put a large black border around it to mask off the outside of the swf as I’m not allowing scale. The problem is that since I have some of the MC’s moving off the stage, they remain clickable beneath the black border as I have a hitarea attached to them. Is there any way to disable mouse clicking within the black border (outside of the main viewing area)?
I’ve attached an example image of the problem. I have a menu that minimizes like the Windows Start menu… but its still active despite being minimized. Once minimized, I should only be able to open it by mousing into the viewing area and not the border.
Any suggestions would be awesome!
