i need some assistance
I have created a button and i want this button to slide a box from the edge of the stage to the middle when the users rollover it and i want the box to return or rewind or reverse back to its original position just simple.
Well not for me at least 4 now
let me explain so you guys get what am trying to accomplish the box that i want the button to slide is already tweened from the stage edge to the middle when i manually move the timeline that is to check that the animation is just how i want it to slide i have tryed using the on’rollover and the on’rollout goto(which ever frame etc) the rollover works well but when it reaches it destination it just loops non stop so i put stop; AS code to stop it from looping but instead of the box to rewind back to place on user rollout it does not move.
how can i get over that probs
also for me to be clear when for example the user rollout from the button half way from its on’rollover (slide to the middle motion) you will notice that the box will just jump to the begining of the rollout frame instead of it to just rewind right from the moment the user rollout as you can tell am still a bit new to Action Scripting so please BROthers and sisters out there be simple with your reply thanks all the time.
check this site and see just what am saying rollover and rollout the navigator panel and watch how it rewinds please am not trying to get the same as that just showing you an example of what am saying.
