First off… I’m very inexperienced with Action script, so I hope this question isn’t innapropriate or a waste of anyones time.
I’m also pretty new to flash, so bear with me… I’ve made a header for a template I’m putting together, sort of as a learning experience… I would like to add some basic animation to occur when the buttons are pressed. However the buttons seem to behave differently based on where I’m loading them from. When I open them locally, my animation seems to work exactly as I intended. However, after uploading them to my webspace, my tidy scripting has gone to total cr4p. When I view them online with Mozilla, everything is fine, but with IE it’s completely buggered. I have made sure to clear my cache, I’ve ensured I have the right files online, but it refuses to function as it should. Any idea why my flash would behave differently on a webserver? It’s incredibly basic AS.
My second question is very closely related to the first. Instead of what I have created, I would like to have one animation play when a button is pressed (centered title appears) then when a second button is pressed, the first animation finishes (disapears) before the second animation commences.
Anyways… I’ll provide a link so you can see what I’m talking about in the first question, and perhaps get a basic idea of what I’m hoping to do (the second question)

Please be kind :) the main content is just simple placeholders to ensure the buttons are loading the pages correctly, my only intention is to get the header functioning as I want...
Any ideas are welcome, I've hit a bit of a wall and I'm unsure how to accomplish the desired effect.
