Nvidia card

Hey guys, I just got a nvidia geforce 5600. And my counter strike and all other games still look like crap. I know its not the best card nvidia makes but my buddy has the exact card and it looks great, while mine is still got choppy corners. I’ve heard something about an XP screen refreshed overide program. I tried to get one but they didn’t have the drvier for my card. Does anyone know where I can get a fix and if it will actually work?
