i have expereinced sort of with actionscript
but I cant really find any tutorials that will actually tell me how to use the actionscript and not just give me the as and say figure it out
Its never a good idea to start from step 35. Start at step 1, you may only start out with: “You’ve made the letter ‘A’ appear on the screen!”, but it gives you the foundation for what you’ll be doing at step 35. Most people make the mistake of saying: “I want to program a game!”, and then start at the last step, without learning how to do everything inbetween… and they either give up, end up with a big piece of crap, or end up copying lines, and lines of code from other sources that they don’t know anything about, and the results are horrific, to say the least.
Start simple, and work your way up! You don’t build a house from the roof down, do you?
heh…that is how i started…i copied code after code…did me no good, but i realised my error and just finished my second game without needing any help or needing to look at any codes
