I have a client asking me if it’s possible to somehow add a date / password script into a flash based presentation where it somehow interacts with the date and clock on the user’s computer and resets to a new password every 3 months let’s say. Only issue is, it’ll run off of a CD ROM.
The presentation is for their clients and will be distributed on a CD rom but will time out after a certain period so clients need to call our client’s firm for a new password. The program will contain a certain number of hidden passwords built in but they’d have to call if it passes a certain date so the agency can give them the “new” (next) password. It’s basically designed to keep their clients in check with their agency.
Anybody have an idea to this? I told him I don’t think it’s possible if it’s running off of a cd rom but I thought I’d ask here. Worst case scenario is, people back-dating their computers and he’s aware of that.
