COME ON GERMANY. I think we have a good chance tomorrow, plus Turkey have tons suspended and injured, and if Germany play like they did against Portugal. I don’t see Turkey being lucky 3 times in a row.

Spain reasons:
- like i said before spain played that way only because of italy… italy have nullified teams for many years, russia won’t/don’t have the experience to do this.
- Russia are an attacking team… so the game will be spread much more
- A spread game favors Spain because of the passing of there mids and movement of their forwards
- Spain have finally broke the voodoo of going out the quarterfinals and finally wining a penalty shootout against Italy of all countries, so they will be hyped up because of this, I personally think this will lift there game.
- Torres is due for a good game
- Spain mid’s will control most of the ball possession in the game and with experience on their side will win the midfield battle, without the ball russia can’t score.

- GUSS HIDDINK, master coach of knockout tournaments… we love him in Australia, did our country proud
- If Arshavin has a good game will cause headaches, I think Spain defenders will be able to frustrate him enough though.

Turkey: reason why they won’t win**
- Lucky to field a team on the pitch, what about subs?
- Tuncay, Emre and now Nihat are all out injured or suspended.
- Rustu (GK) had a major dodgy last game.
- Will have to play defensive due to lack of quality attacking players, danger of letting germany control possession and the game realistically.
- if the game goes to a penalty shoot-out would you bet against germany? lol.
I sure there are more arguments for why each team might win or lose but this will do.

Wow, what a game. I really expected more from Germany. Turkey played very well but at the end of the day a win is a win no matter what. So all I have to say is

What a crazy game! I think the only thing missing was someone running naked on the field!
Goal after goal, terrible defense on both sides, shocking ref decisions, so many close chances, extreme rain, lighting/thunder, lost of tv signal, missed the 2nd german goal, lol
Germany played terrible, but as expected made it to the finals. They basically let the Turkey team attack them, giving them way too much space with the ball and what absolute shocking defense from the German defenders especially the right centre back; his static movement and passing was a joke. And Lahm usually solid had a shocking game (how easy did he get caught out by Turkeys last goal!!?) but made up for it with the final goal which was taken very well.
Still i’m on target for a spain v germany final, GO SPAIN!!

Well done Spain! To be fair, they were the better team - Germany didn’t really play that well in any games except for against Portugal! They just somehow kept on managing to scrape through!
Well Played Spain, Well Deserved.
First 10 minutes Germany played really well. Jens Lehmann has to be man of the match, if it wasn’t for his worldclass performance it would have been more goals to Spain.
I went town after the match and was quite alot of Germans in the street, it was still a good atmosphere. We are happy to have made the final.
Bravo Spain, they deserved it, it was a great game. They had a lot of fans down here too, don’t know why:)
