Ok then, how about this?

Ok, ok ok ok ok.

 I’ll stop being hard headed. I’ll start with something simplier.

I’d like help making a side scrolling hack and slasher. Almost like Megaman Zero. The character will use a sword, a gun, and an array of other weapons. I just want to know how to work out the level designing and such right now. and like how to make it so they fall back to the ground at a moderate rate… that kind of stuff. Just jumping, attacking, and moving around. nothing unnessarily special.

As far as designing the levelings. I was wondering if I could have it were I just make like precreated and programmed platforms and stuff and just move, copy, and place them where i want. The levels will range from towns(just like running through and stopping monsters from terrorizing folks, no real interaction with the people.)to completely vertical dungeons.

I think maybe I’ll have some RPG aspects, but I’m working on the easy stuff right now.

So, what I want to start off with is movement and level design. IS this too much to start with? I tihnk my sprites’ll probably be the size of those from Megaman & Bass (Rockman and Forte, for the people who played the japanese version.) I hope this is simple enough for me to start off, but I’m asking to see if it is. what do you think? Too hard to start with?

PS. the reason I’m asking and not just seeing ofr myself is because I have alot of stuff to do, so before I start something I can’t very well finish, I want to see if its simple enough for me to be able to work on it, then stop when I need to, then pick it up simply without it being too much trouble?
