On Mouseover

Yes, I know how thick I must sound, but all I want to do is to have some text appear when the mouse goes over a certain picture. I used to be able to do it on older versions of Flash, but I have no idea how to do it on Flash MX. Do I have to use actionscripting nowadays?

well… make a button, leave the “up” frame empty, type the text in the “over” frame and in the “hit” frame draw a box or something do define the are where the mouse must be for the text to appear.
