So I went to a website today and it prompted me to update my current version of Flash 9 to the newest version of Flash 9. OK, no problem … boy was I wrong. So I go to try and install it, upon installation it hangs up at the “Items remaining to be installed: 4” screen, doesn’t move one bit, left it up there for like 15 min. Still nothing. On top of that it ended up trashing the current install which made the previous version of Flash I had stop working. I was able to fix it because of Time Machine, but it was still gay.
SO then I Google for potential fixes to my problems and stumble upon this thread on the Adobe forum:

Has all these possible fixes, tried all of them and none work. Has anyone else encountered this problem on their PPC (not Intel)? And if so has anyone actually fixed it?
[whisper]As a side note  as I rebooted my computer after a permission repair, it tells me my HDD is about to fail … go go gadget Time Machine.[/whisper]
