Pathing problem

hey people!

i kinda have a nuub problem and i think that everybody around here knows how to solve it!
i just can’t find another way to path something:

main movie
        |
        |
 loadmovie ( blabla.swf)
              |
              |
        main stage ( variable named username )
                  |
                  |
              MC ( actions: _root.username )      <<--- and this is

the problem where i get stuck :wink:
people i know it’s a nuub problem butplz help me out?
