Pattern Help

I know this sounds like a really stupid question, but does anyone have a thick diagonal line pattern or a link to one that I could download. I just can’t seem to be able to get one right. Maybe it’s because it’s late or maybe I just can’t figure out how to make one that matches up when you fill with it.
