I am used to using CS3 on a PC and I am having problems on the Mac at work. I have text typed in Word and it will not copy and past (I have tried apple+c and dragging) and it won’t work. Some help would be GREAT.

Apple + C then an Apple + V should do the trick.
I’ve noticed when copy/pasting, Flash is real fickle, often I have to click twice into the spot where I’m pasting. Also, sometimes I have to lock down all the other layers, so that it accepts my paste. In addition, when coping in Flash, if your selection is hi-lighted in grey, it’s actually in the background and won’t grab your selection.
I don’t have any problems copy/pasting in other apps, it seem Flash isn’t able to read my mind.

On older versions of Word for Mac, it also copies word formatting … so when you try to paste it to other apps they go “WTF”.
No real workaround apart from resaving to plain text
