Permanent Flash Fullscreen on External Monitor?

I just got a mini-DVI to VGA connector for me MacBook to connect to my projector screen, and a headphone thingy to get the sound to my receiver.

Iā€™d like to be able to watch a hockey game, for example (Flash player) and use fullscreen on the projector screen, which works fine - but as soon as I click on any windows on my laptop monitor, the flash fullscreen exits on the projector screen.

Using FF3 on Leopard 10.5.
