I’ve just downloaded Apache, PHP and MySQL to install on my computer to work on some PHP scripts. After installing Apache it said there was an error, but the installation was fine. I pointed my browser at localhost, however it brought up a password box and a localstart.asp file that was unauthorized to view.
Ive done my research before this post and found out that its in C:/Inetpub/wwwroot - which I’ve been told is the default Windows Server. I deleted the files in that folder and tried again but now it just does the same and doesnt go to the Apache/htpdocs folder like I want.
Does anyone know how to disable this or at least switch it so that the localhost is the Apache folder?
