Pet owners, what do you think

so i want to sneak my cat into my new apartment that i will move into in september. the apartment has a no pet policy. she’s a really good cat and has never created any problems for me. she’s spayed, potty trained, and doesn’t destroy things.

what do you think? should i go thru with it?

of course

Rev

will you be ok if you get caught? … you know, have somewhere to go? I know people who keep cats despite a similar policy. Some have gotten by fine without getting caught - others (well one thats coming to mind) got caught and had to move out. :-\ So I guess its just a matter of whether or not its worth the risk.

I personally would risk it rather than give up the pet. Either that or find some place that allows pets.

well ok, here’s the thing. my parents are moving to salt lake city and taking the other cat with them. they said that tweety (my baby) can live in their house. since i’ll be staying here alone to finish school, i want to keep my cat.

if they catch you, they make you get rid of the pet. i have places where she can go if that happens.

then by all means, sneak away

chances are, if you are careful, they will never know.

Rev

then you must at least try  go for it!

What Sen said…

My sisters friend is going through the same thing, she is moving out soon and the place she is moving into charges a montly fee per pet and she doesn’t want to have to pay that so she’s going to sneak her pet in and try and get away with it. If they catch her she will just be fined then have to pay the montly fee after that though. If it will risk you getting kicked out, then I can’t say as I recommend it (unless you have somewhere to go as sen said).

the best thing is that she’s an inside cat and she barely ever meows. mostly she sleeps all day or just wanders around.

does she run out the door if left open?

luckily, Stan got locked out once… only once… now he stays inside like a good kitty…

but that is the most common mistake made, is a door left open a crack…

Rev

nope not really, she’s weird. she follows me around everywhere but doesn’t really go outside that much.

Ive never in my life had an indoor car :beam: I mean they can come inside, but they all “lived” outside. Thats farm life for ya

they only came in for your “special bonding sessions” huh Sen?

:beam:

now that’s farm life for you.

Rev

no I went out for those

baaaaaaa

:!:

I say go for it, and hope they don’t hear her walking up&down. BTW can one really hear a cat’s foot steps? are they feet as heavy as to make the person below hear them?

i have a 16lb bengal cat who is 1/3 leopard.
i have a 100 lb dog who is 3/3 klutz.

when the cat runs down the hall the pictures on the wall shake.

when the dog runs down the hall, well, they don’t.

heheh

anyway, pinx, definitely take the kitty. :beam:
