pFlow experiment

Just getting into 3DSmax again :smiley:

I’ve been exploring the particle Flow area of max, as I’ve been trying to simulate fluid motion for a project at work. Whilst playing around with the wind/bomb forces, I ran across the pfspliner script, and I just HAD to render it out :love:

This is roughly 1000 particles getting thrown around, leaving a spline trail. The image has beenr endered with a soft chrome material on the wires, and HDR lighting + DOF.

total render time: approx. 3 hours.

Res: 3200x1200 (dual screen desktop)
