Hello i used tutorial on http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/thumbnails.htm to build a photo gallery.
It is a nice tutorial. I decided to make 2 improvements in this sample:

When navigate on the photos with next/previous button, the thumbnails
also navigates in the chosen direction. The first thumbnail on the left corresponds to the image in the main area. -
Added a slideshow feature. With 2 buttons pause/play a new feature slideshow
with configurable time between slides.
The code/design maybe needs some optimization, but the essential of the features is there.
Fell free to improve/redesign the flash presentation.
I hope this helps to anyone as it helped my own needs.
