I bought myself a digital camera about 6 months ago, and while I have no plans to branch out into photography proper, I do enjoy taking photos and striving to take better ones. I am now finding though, that I am ending up with large quantities of images, in no useful order, stored in the default folder (and subfolders) that my camera imports to.
As seems to be the way in photography, I am also taking a lot more shots than is probably necessary in order to be able to choose the best one. This leads to replicas, out-of-focus shots, and some times just plain rubbish images that are also bloating the size of my image folders.
So, my question is: How do you organise all your images/photos on your PC? Do you leave all originals in the defult place and simply copy an image as needed? Are images organised by time/place/mood/colour etc? Do you sift through and delete some images or do you keep every shot in case it could be useful in the future?
Any ideas?
