"Photoshop 8" suggestion/agree?

I would like to see Adobe add a feature that would be a huge timesaver for me and the Photoshop community as a whole. My suggestion relates to the Filter/ Extract tool, it would be much more funtional to have the ability to use lines and shapes…rather than trace the outline of your subject matter with the pen tool.
