ok please help me here… i have a full template designed in photoshop… it has many layers.
i tried to import it as a layered pdf into mx 2004 and viola always imports flattened no matter how many layers… so i experimented with different kinds of masking in photoshop. i found that using the freeform pen tool and the custom shape tool makes a perfect mask to go along with the object drawn… now thats great and all because this then imports saved as a pdf to mx 2004 *** layers…
so my question is with already made template of many layers how do i take a layer and create the mask like the ones created by those two previously mentioned tools for already created layers… i dont want regular masks cause they dont show up in flash mx 2004… i need the same kind of masks made from the freeform pen tool and or shape tool…
i basically just want to ctrl click the layer and make a vector path just like those two tools… how can i do this please help!!!
