I picked up Friends of Ed, PHP 5 for Flash at Borders this weekend. After I got home, I started reading reviews online, to make sure I got the right book on this topic… All the reviews for this book are rave, “best book on this topic”… however, I realized after purchasing the book that it was published in 2005, and most of the reviews are at least a year old.
Was just wondering, if anyone is familiar with this book, if it is still as relevant as it was when all the rave reviews were published, or if there is a new book on the topic that everyone is raving about.
I know nothing about PHP by the way, but am looking to learn.
